Project: Hoathly Hill Forest Garden
Hoathly Hill Forest Garden began in 2011 with a small group of residents of Hoathly Hill Community with a vision of creating a forest garden: a natural, beautiful and productive space for the wider community to learn and celebrate together.
In our first year, we observed and designed the forest garden, consulting the community, sharing visions, creating edges and paths. In our second year, we planted trees and put on our first educational events. We care for the fruit trees, create plant communities, sit around a fire, and share food and inspiration.
Our guiding principles are working with nature, working with others and creating beneficial connections. We welcome anyone who would like to get involved or simply come a have a look.
We now run a parent and child group every week and other events, please contact Lucy through the link below.
